Katikemi Company Background

Katikemi (Pty) Ltd is a community‑anchored contractor providing mining construction, yellow‑fleet rental (wet and dry), and turnkey site management services to mines across Marikana and the broader Bojanala Platinum District in the North West. We exist to convert local capability into world‑class delivery—building haul roads and pads, supplying reliable machines with trained operators, and managing day‑to‑day pit and plant activities safely and efficiently.

The company is majority community‑owned through a local trust and prioritises local employment, accredited training, and supplier development. Our operating philosophy is simple: Zero Harm, On‑Time Delivery, and Cost Discipline—underpinned by ISO‑aligned quality systems and full compliance with the MPRDA, MHSA and DMRE requirements.
